How many tilapia can I put in a 250 gallon tank?

Asked: Sean Landsman, Date Created:

Please fill me in. If you raise them to one lb and butcher them at that size, you can have 25 tilapia at the recommended 1 lb per 10 gallons for beginners. An air pump and several stones would be necessary within the tank. I would say 2-4 large airstones in the tank.
