How many shrimp can I put in a 5 gallon betta tank?

Asked: Thomas Le Gresley, Last Updated:

A cherry shrimps size varies. A female cherry shrimp will grow to 1 inch, but the males will be a lot smaller. Because cherry shrimp are smaller you can normally put them in a smaller tank (albeit with less of them). If you only want 10 shrimp and a betta then a 5-gallon tank is a great choice.
